Dangers of Using Synthetic Deodorants

Synthetic deodorants are known to have bad effects to the human body. This is especially true with products that contain aluminium. There have been some studies that link this active ingredient to increasing the risk of women developing breast cancer. Other ingredients that come from animals and other chemicals are also found to be among the possible causes.

Synthetic deodorants basically block the sweat glands in order to stop perspiration. With prolonged use, toxins build up that could possibly impede the body’s natural processes. Artificial scents are also irritants to people who are sensitive to these. Also, many deodorants stain clothes and fabrics that are difficult to remove.
